The tale: ca. 1990, the taper for some Japanese concerts had a friend
transfer his master reels to DAT. Those original DATs were loaned in
2005 by the person who transferred them to another friend who cloned
them for me. The information on what microphones and tape deck were used
to produce this excellent incomplete stereo audience recording is lost
to time.
Master Reel > DAT(tranferrer's) > DAT(mine) > PC > CDWave > FLAC
-transferred to PC digitally using Coresound 7-pin cable
-M-Audio S/PDIF soundcard input recorded in Sony Vegas Video
-sample rate changed from 48kHz to 44.1kHz with Wavelab for cd audio
-no other changes made and no edits performed
