[ROGER: Ah, for fucks sake don't let it off fireworks and shouting and screaming I'm trying to sing the song. I mean I don't care, if you don't wanna hear it, you know, fuck you. I'm sure there's alot of people here who do wanna hear it, so why don't you just be quiet and. If you wanna let your fireworks off go outside and let them off out there, and if you wanna shout and scream and holler go and do it out there but. I'm trying to sing a song that some people want to listen to, I want to listen to it.]

Pigs (Three Different Ones)

[ROGER: Thank you. Thank you very much, see you again. Maybe.]
[DAVID: Thank you. Thanks alot. Good night.] ><

[ROGER: Ok. Ok we're gonna do another tune cause... Just cause there's a few assholes down the front here, there's no need for everybody to get upset, and we're gonna join it and [...] See if everybody else gets we're gonna do one more. This, this tune is called 'Us And Them', it's from 'Dark Side Of The Moon'. It's very quiet, so let's keep quiet. Try and end this thing peacefully.]

Us And Them

[DAVID: Thank you very much. Good night.]
[ROGER: Thank you. Take it easy. Don't worry about it. I don't, well I do, but I wish I didn't, I wish I didn't, I wish I didn't. >< Ok. Well, listen we can't do any more [...] songs. So we're gonna some music, you know, to go home to. For you. We're not noted as a blues band, we're just gonna play a slow blues, you know, so everybody can calm down a bit and we'll all be allright. And thank you again for coming.]

Blues

[ROGER: Goodbye.]

North American Tour
April 22nd-July 6th, 1977

Roger shouts '19-61' at 13:15 during the 3rd verse of Pigs (Three Different Ones). Different source than 'Azimuth Coordinator'.

Sound quality speaking, I'd say the recording quality is similar to the "Azimuth Coordinator 2" RoIO. However, it's from a different source/taper, and the audience near the taper is really quiet (which is rather ironic, considering the general behavior of the audience that night). So, musically speaking, this new source is much more enjoyable than "Azimuth Coordinator 2", since there's less audience noise.

The performance is not always inspired, but this show is historical for the "spitting incident" (which probably happened during "Pigs - 3 different ones") and also for the interruption during "Pigs On
The Wing Pt.2" ("For f*** sake stop these fireworks, I'm trying to sing a song!"). I really like the end of "Pigs", where we can feel Roger's anger and the wildness of the band trying to finish the Animals set. SOYCD 6-9 is very enjoyable, and there Roger has some difficulty to finish his verse, because of a laughing attack (which was David's specialty BTW ;-)).

I noticed that the 2 Harvested releases from the 1977 Tour ("Animal Instincts" and this one) features shows with unique encores: "Careful With That Axe Eugene" for the Oakland show, and "Drift Away Blues" for the Montreal show, where the guitar is played by Snowy White (David Gilmour was not on stage for this last encore, he watched the band perform from the mixing desk). MOB

Band:
David Gilmour - guitar, vocals
Roger Waters - bass, vocals
Richard Wright - keyboards, vocals
Nick Mason - drums, percussion
Dick Parry - saxophone
Snowy White - guitar
