Roger Waters - Rockline Interview 1985

"DocBox #5" A series of stuff from a box of tapes in Doc's basement.

I've been looking for something in the old DocBox that is Floyd-related, but that even Feather hasn't uploaded yet. No music content on this one, but definitely interesting--this is the reclusive Roger Waters being interviewed by Bob Coburn and call-in fans on Rockline, 1985. During the "Pros and Cons" tour, this is classic crochety Waters, describing how he's "not a big fan of the ladies" and how American foreign policy is based on "old cowboy movies." You'll have to listen for yourself to hear how he responds to a fan who, in all seriousness, asks Rog "What ARE the pros and cons of hitchhiking?"

Per DIME regulations, all official content is cut out. If you are interested in the "holophonic concert" to which the interviewer (Bob Coburn) refers, check out Feather's "Radio City or Bust" torrent.

Enjoy!
