Want a recording you see listed above? If you are experienced or if you are new to collecting lossless audio and your collection is minimal to non-existent; have no worries, our dedicated moderators and members will be happy to get you started. After you download the software just STAY LOGGED IN and simply ask for help in the chat room. Please have patience at first, this is an extremely friendly environment which means we do check our messages and if we have access to what you are looking for, we will make share it for you. Sometimes Echoes Hub has over 400 TB of lossless audio and video recordings courtesy of thousands of tapers and traders from around the globe; effectively proving that music IS the one true International language. If you haven't already, now is the time to create an account, get logged in, and trade unofficial lossless audio recordings with like-minded music lovers just like yourself.

Only lossless audio is traded here at Echoes Hub because the compression is identical to the original recording. When you compress audio files using the mp3 format or similar lossy compression, some of the audio spectrum is shaved off meaning a lot of the audio from that recording is permanently lost. There is no way to get it back because it gets deleted to crunch the file small in size after using psychoacoustics to delete overlapping sounds. This completley degrades the sound quality to where it sounds distorted or crunchy when too much compression is applied. Did you know? Lossless compression is true to its name in that it retains all the information in the recording and has no auditory problems -- nothing is lost. When you extract a FLAC file you get the lossless .WAV file from the original recording device.

Our lossless music recording formats are generally shared in the form of lossless SHN (Shorten) or lossless FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) files which is about 6 times larger than mp3 files resulting in taking up a lot more space on your hard disk. Warning: Whether you are an archivist or an elitist, be prepared to start investing in storage space. Hard drives are becoming very inexpensive so start replacing your lossy recordings with lossless and signup today. What's important to remember: it's still cheaper than streaming. Online streaming services such as Pandora and Rhapsody have improved but their bit rates while streaming are 128 Kbps to 192 Kbps. And while Spotify streams at 320Kbps OGG compression, nothing beats 1411 Kbps when ripping from a CD as the sound is pristine and you will have your collection forever without monthly service charges for streaming audio.

All lossless music tapers and traders are welcome... Yet know that in order to ensure the highest integrity of our mission, the following rules are non-negotiable and strictly enforced: No sharing MP3s or any other type of lossy audio, no sharing any incomplete recordings, no sharing any illegal pirated official music, movies, software, etc... If you have any of your own lossless audio recordings, the Echoes Hub community is the place to share them! Keep reading and easily follow the steps below and begin to experience your journey. If for some reason you are having trouble connecting, please fill out the contact form below in the footer and we will get back to you A.S.A.P. We realize English may not be your first language so we translated the trading rules in 26 languages.

We have amassed and archived thousands of unnofficial recordings from audience members, unreleased soundboards traded through friends, and pro shot video performances both live and in the studio of your favorite bands. All of these recordings, whether audio or video, are available for you to download and yes it is 100% totally free. It's been a long time since the 1960s and 1970s that audiophiles used to sneak reel-to-reel recorders into venues for optimum recordings that were later transferred to cassette and DAT (Digital Audio Tape) then copied to be shared by snail mail. With a myriad of new digital devices out on the market in the 2020s and with a little practice, almost anyone can record a concert in lossless format. But how do you perfect the sound? You'll need software such as Adobe Audition or possibly even its predecessor, Cool Edit Pro -- along with the knowledge of how to use the software and the time to stablize, edit, and slice each track. This is where Echoes Hub flourishes and where our members thrive. With so many active tapers and traders; we have all of the capabilities, experience, and wisdom to guide you into becoming a stellar lossless audio collector -- or even a "stealth taper" if you choose to be one. Some started here with a cassette recorder with a built in mono mic and have now moved on to creating 5.1 channel surround-sound multi-cam mixes; it all depends on how deep your passion goes. You don't have to be that guy if you aren't interested, but the opportunity is there. Perhaps you just want to "set it and forget it" (download and share) because you don't have the time, money, or interest and that's perfectly ok. In fact all you have to do is just stay connected, share back whatever you have downloaded.

It's imperative that you don't spend your money on bootlegs from eBay or Amazon or some click-bait site and support these crooks because you never really know what you're getting. Instead, be guaranteed and meet tapers from around the world and obtain these original recordings for free, right here.
