  • Pink Floyd Starclub 1967-09-13 : 'Reaction In G' official excerpt. Broadcast attributed to Beat Club News 1969-04-26. A very odd recording. It clearly sounds like an official recording of the highly recognisable opening bars to 'Reaction In G' from the Starclub '67, but how come more hasn't surfaced from this source. And why is it attributed to Beat Club News 1969...? With 2 variants from two different rebroadcasts...? Curses verifying these sources can't be more straight-forward. Two short excerpts of 'Reaction In G'. Nice quality. From a 1st Gen cassette I received in a trade back in 1996. a. 1993-07-02 With Voiceover 0'41" b. 1995-06-04 Without Voiceover 0'43" TV > DAT > 1st Gen Cassette > DAT > FLAC That's MG-X90 Metal Tape / ref. 52. Analogue Transfer: Aiwa AD-F450 Cassette Deck > Tascam DA20 MkII DAT Transfer: Sony SDT-9000 DDS Drive + DAT2WAV > WAV Peak 5.05 used to trim leading and trailing silences. FLAC encoded at DAT native sample resolution of 48Khz. Downsample to transfer to Audio CD but please do not distribute / share downsampled copies. Transferred and shared on Yeeshkul Pink Floyd Tracker by Beechwoods, March 2007.
