  • Pink Floyd Dates: 4 February, 1977; 30 January, 1977 Locations: Hallenstadion, Zurich, Switzerland; Deutchlandhalle, West Berlin, West Germany Source: Cassette (Master/1)>CDR(3)>EAC>WAV>FLAC, with 30 January Recorder #2 Rating: EX+ Disc One: 1. Sheep 11:40 2. Pigs On The Wing (Part 1) 1:45 3. Dogs 1:58 4. Pigs On The Wing (Part 2) 2:41 5. Pigs (Three Different Ones) (30 January) 16:57 6. Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V) 13:52 7. Welcome To The Machine 6:43 8. Have A Cigar 5:49 9. Wish You Were Here 5:46 10. Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts VI-IX) 3:55 11. Money 8:34 Total 4 February: 62:47 Total With 30 January: 79:40 Comments: Unprocessed transfer. The taper stopped and started his recorder after 'Pigs On The Wing (Part 1)', and in the middle of and after 'Pigs On The Wing (Part 2)'. 'Dogs' is partial, end of the track only. 'Pigs (Three Different Ones)' is from the 30 January Berlin show, Recorder #2. This is the only known track to surface from 30 January Recorder #2; the creator of the source tape seamlessly spliced it into the 4 February recording. There is probably a tape flip at the beginning of 'Welcome To The Machine', resulting in a cut to the first part of the track. The taper also started and stopped his recorder briefly toward the end of 'Have A Cigar' and after 'Wish You Were Here'. 'Shine On (Parts VI-IX)' is quite short as well, and the intro to 'Money' is missing. This is most likely a first generation copy of the master tape. Speculating a bit, I suspect the original taper went to the show with a single 60 minute cassette...hence the multiple stops and starts in the recording.
