  • Band: Steve Lukather & Friends Venue : Musicians Institute City/State/Country : Hollywood , california , USA Date : 1998-09-11 Source: Proshot Film - EX- Lineage: Burnt DVD's sent to me ( sorry to be so vague ) Title: Lukes Birthday Party File Size: 3.57GB VOB Files SetList Red House Maiden Voyage / Butterfly All Blues Georgy Porgy ( Toto Cover ) Funky Stuff Sunshine Of Your Love Purple Haze Tutu Band : Steve Lukather : Guitars David Garfield : Keyboards Curt Bisquera : Drums Will Lee : Bass Notes : HUGE thanks to Peter ( dime user : fatzo2112 ) for supplying this DVD to me . I am seeding it on HIS behalf tho grateful to him as I didn't have this ( only the Audio ) . So TRUE credit goes out to him guys !!!! The following are HIS notes as supplied with the DisC : "" Its a soundboard recording ( I think from the same source that has been shared as audio only on STG ) with pro-shot video . Because the venue is dark the video looks dark too ; on first sight you start to think its an audience shot. The video however proshot , done with mostly steady cam's ( without a camera operator, just standing on a tripod ) The DVD has no menu ( it starts the concert immediately ) and chapters at every 10 minutes ( not in between songs );sorry that's how it got to me . Still because of its uniqueness and the perfect sound it's a must for ecery Luke fan IMO "" To BACK UP what Peter said this is truly awesome with a cool bunch of musicians that shine as always. As for the quality IMO its a 8-9/10 no problem . ENJOY !!
