Tom Sawyer 6:24 8. YYZ 5:34 This is another very nice show that doesn't circulate much for some reason, and has never been released on CD. Judging by the grades I've seen given to the few versions of this show I have seen on others' lists, I suspect this is a significant upgrade. (I did this transfer specifically for a trade with John Amato in June '03, and he confirms that this is better than the version he had prior). I don't know specifically what gen my tapes are, but I got this shortly after the actual show, so it can't be too high. The sound is clear, and well-balanced, but a bit muddy. Still, I give this a B+ overall. As with the other volumes of these releases, the goal is 100% preservation. This means that I have done a straight transfer from tape, with no EQ, only normalization, and fades at the beginning and end of each disc. Please keep it this way, and do not remaster this recording. Special thanks to Dan Eckert for the artwork. .md5 files verified.
