  • Pink Floyd Veterans Stadium Philadelphia, PA May 15, 1988 Another Lapse - World Tour 1988 From the Analogue Master Tape Disc One: 1. Shine On You Crazy Diamond 2. Signs Of Life 3. Learning To Fly 4. Yet Another Movie 5. A New Machine 6. Terminal Frost 7. A New Machine 8. Sorrow 9. Dogs Of War 10. On The Turning Away 11. One Of These Days 12. Time 13. On The Run Disc Two: 1. Great Gig In The Sky 2. Wish You Were Here 3. Welcome To The Machine 4. Us and Them 5. Money 6. Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2) 7. Comfortably Numb 8. One Slip 9. Run Like Hell Notes: This show is special to me since I was there, otherwise, I would have no real interest, other than completion. The Sound Quality has been improved by some gentle remastering on my side. The tape suffered from serious hiss, heavy clipping and no bass floor. These items have been significantly improved. The recording suffers mostly from media problems, as there is significant warble for the first handful of tracks, especially noticable on SOYCD, SOL, and LTF. Generation is also questionable, however my source swears that it is a clone of the master tape. Finally, the recording sounds as though the taper was in the back of the stadium or in the upper level. Instrument definition is not very good, and the echo/big hall sound is captured in this recording. The Floyd spent 3 nights in Philly in 1988. The 15th, 16th and 17th of May. The 16th show circulates (rather obscurely) however. As I don't have any of these other recordings, I have to take the date at face value. NOTE: Update -- Pink Floyd only played in Philadelphia on 5/15 & 5/16. They didn't play the 17th, and played the 18th at Cedar Falls, Iowa
