The crowd was pretty tame overall as if they were too scared to do anything more than stand in the corner quietly and clap politely between songs. On the bright side, that meant that I could easily be just few meters from the stage without worrying that someone would come over and push me. Also somewhat dissappointed at the very short set they played, only 60 minutes and no encore either. Recording notes: First time recording with my new microphones and batterybox and only the second time using the Archos. There was a few times when I had to take a sidestep or two to allow people in or out of the floor, some of which caused slight phasing which to me (usually very critical of it), didn't end up being that distracting. The only editing during the mastering phase was dampening of couple of pops early on during the show caused by the Archos connector piece (required for line-in) getting loose, and normalizing the show to -1dB. During Don't Fall Asleep there's a louder bit where one longer growl sounds like it'd be clipping a bit. Unsure how that got in there as I was running very safely with around 15-18dB headroom when recording, and the clip indicators on Audition never went red before or after normalizing either. As usual, I didn't do any equalizing as everyone has their own preferences in that, I thought it sounded pretty good as it was already. Overall I'd say it could be a bit better and it could be a whole lot worse. All in all I'm quite happy with the result. - Borlag on August 9th 2007
