  • Jimi Hendrix - Ronnie Scott's, London. 1970 Artist: Jimi Hendrix Source: Audience recording Lineage: Low gen cassette > Soundstudio > Shorten > SHN File Size: 312 MB(SHN) Tracks 01. Interview 11 Sept 1970 02. Paint It Black 03. Blackbird 04. Spill The Wine 05. Mystery Train 06. Mother Earth* 07. Tobacco Road* * Jimi only plays on the last two numbers Notes: The first track here is Jimi's last ever interview which took place at The Cumberland Hotel, Great Cumberland Place, Marble Arch, London on 11 September 1970. It's quite interesting to hear Jimi speak about how concerts in the future would look and also hear his thoughts about entertainment in the home. The rest of the disc is made up of a performance by Eric Burdon and War at Ronnie Scott's Club in London with Jimi sitting in on the last two numbers. This show took place on 16 September 1970 and was apparently recorded by Jerry Goldstein who filmed Jimi's 1969 RAH performance. However the fidelity of this recording is far from professional and is probably an item for completists only. ************************** Do not encode to MP3 Do not sell ************************** Pass It On.
