King ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Comments: At about 130-140 minutes this was the longest KX show I've ever seen; definitely worth the roadtrip down to JAXX from Philly. I taped some of this from up close, right in front of Doug. After the song WORLD I even leaned over and took the words for it that were taped up in front of him (I asked first & he nodded OK). I think you can hear some of this on the tape, although since I was taping I asked in taper sign language! There are a lot of songs in this setlist that you don't get on other tours - when else did they "perform" WATER CEREMONY? Sorry but the joke doesn't translate well to audio tape, and you probably had to be there for that one. Some setlist comments - this was the tour for MANIC MOONLIGHT so there may be too many Metal Blade era songs for some of the early KX album fans, but it was a really fun show, good vibes, and I recommend it, even though they didn't do my faves GOLDILOX or SUMMERLAND. You can hear me yelling for both of 'em though at some point (sorry). OVER MY HEAD is a killer version as always, and Doug tells a touching story and makes some interesting points about "God". Also they didn't do I'M YOUR CAPTAIN nor was anybody expecting them to except for one guy who kept yelling for it all night! The guy even sings it!! Ty comments on him at some point in the show. They did do it back in '96 if I remember right, but I don't recall them ever doing it again, so it seemed kinda funny for somebody to be asking for it all night 5 years later. NOTE: This show was also recorded from the board and broadcast via the web - I have no idea what the story with that was, but as far as I know it was not a pay-for official release kind of thing so my upload here should be kosher. I also have the webcast but prefer my own recording since I was there and this captures the "ambience" better. As Doug says, "Don't take no bullshit from nobody", and enjoy! *IF YOU DISTRIBUTE THIS ELSEWHERE PLEASE DO NOT ENCODE TO LOSSY FORMATS LIKE MP3, AND KEEP ALL THESE FILES INTACT* *SHARE FREELY....NEVER SELL...SUPPORT THE ARTISTS, BUY THEIR RELEASES, AND GO TO A SHOW* ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ; flac fingerprint file generated by Trader's Little Helper ; generated on December 8, 2008, at 01:09:20 CD1\Track01.flac:a8666e7010f9139325ad64d8a621b07c CD1\Track02.flac:17f3affb8ba2cbba12e11d9da8e545f9 CD1\Track03.flac:136507cda8ceb9e13afab214f73cc21d CD1\Track04.flac:08356bdc5933ec5855481ed1f0c34823 CD1\Track05.flac:755362aba350034f595f48ac010b2872 CD1\Track06.flac:fb3c861686fbb634dbee6aebcda3d5b2 CD1\Track07.flac:58c6781d18f1059358e434a9899be3d3 CD1\Track08.flac:55cc7d2d439d4c00c4b7748a1de3aeab CD1\Track09.flac:38824f93c7345a68e631641e7d6e131b CD1\Track10.flac:a72881c46215177624d51f61c8c9b4d6 CD1\Track11.flac:4d171a820b3854742d2d672ece7f4494 CD1\Track12.flac:b093a9b17eb4829f88b990a7e967e8cb CD1\Track13.flac:6572cf1ab2e8bd550508309558e3e59d CD1\Track14.flac:bec6e93f94ad33d464f1bcf5e6c09ba8 CD1\Track15.flac:74e55235ebd84d8e5825f45c34820248 CD2\Track01.flac:7e21f1ade9b37e211d63c5b5f1d37592 CD2\Track02.flac:7c0b22a06bb33077e004b2573070edc1 CD2\Track03.flac:6dec8b39b95ce92d8902d4ebfec85900 CD2\Track04.flac:d5940a62e348f23304850731d1ee454c CD2\Track05.flac:425e2cb09c973b9ffbe43ff6c904d565 CD2\Track06.flac:6e6706a9fef0921e0b1f05ea89940778 CD2\Track07.flac:bd4023c507088dc2e04ca3afddbd235f CD2\Track08.flac:37e22a228994ad45cecce2ff1267adac CD2\Track09.flac:0f90c9128d99b3358437d66293b08bb6 CD2\Track10.flac:01d63ccc0eed343c2660c4bbc9248e2e CD2\Track11.flac:4078e8cac1385d918556fe7588785cdb
