- Led Zeppelin 1970 Party Pack Sources: aud + sbd (mainly aud)->?-cdr-?->MKW->shn Rare Short Party~Yale Bowl, New Haven Connecticut August 15, 1970 + 1970 Compilation Rare Short Party~This show was posted several months ago and I just noticed someone mentioned that IQ's "Rare Short Party" was a better version. Well here it is. I love those '69-'70 shows and this is a decent audience recording with some sloppy edits (like the end of SIBLY being cut short), but otherwise yet another excellent 1970 show. "I'm Gonna Groove" (a personal fave) has been replaced by Immigrant Song as the opener. Not recommended for the casual Zeppelin fan/heartily for all others. The 1970 compilation is a one disc compilation I did for friends a couple of years ago. I have to humbly say I think it's pretty good and all my Zep loving friends liked it. I posted my 1969 compilation a couple of months ago.
