Still, a few thousand Geordies brought the place to life. I was 10th row centre again so I was more or less guaranteed a decent sound and once again that is what I got. I certainly had a few more clappers and yahoos around me than in Glasgow but it certainly doesn't detract from the quality of the recording. The security was extremely lax once again so 'the hat' was worn without any problems arising.
