  • Robert Plant Acoustically '93 (Cosmic Energy ) DVDr - clone DVD - Video_ts Content: 13 June 1993, TV Studio-Videomusic Roxy Bar, Bologna Airport Arrival / Intro / Hoochie Coochie Man / 29 Palms / Thank You / I Believe / Whole Lotta Love / Going To California 28 August 1993, Rimini Intro / 29 Palms / I Believe / Hoochie Coochie Man / Whole Lotta Love Bonus footage Kings Head, London on 20 May 1993 Pistoia Blues Festival, 3 July 1993 A.J.Palumbo Center Pittsburgh, PA Piazza San Giovanni, Rome, 1 May 1993 Also numerous audio only tracks It is very nice to have a DVD of Robert Plant's most successful tour, promoting his excellent Fate Of Nations release in 1993. A number of TV appearances have been gathered together in one place for this release. Perhaps the most unusual is Plant's performance for the Italian Democratic Party in Rimini, where he is enthusiastically introduced by a Catholic priest, who gets carried away and introduces each song performed. Hopefully he did not fully divine some of the lyrics in Whole Lotta Love, with Robert wanting to give "every inch of my love" to some fortunate lady (married to Robert of course). The titles and presentation are excellent, and this comes as a full colour picture disc (adhesive label), in a very nice card sleeve, which seems to be the new standard from Cosmic Energy. The picture and sound quality are both excellent, so this is a most welcome release for all Plant fans. (Jules McTrainspotter July 04)
