MD5 Record Set: Disc 1 - Disc 2 - Disc 3 - Disc 4 - Disc 5 - Disc 6 |
- King Crimson Central Park, NYC June 25, 1973 Lineage: 16mm Film --> DVD --> You Direct transfer, professionally done with no editing, colour correction, etc. What you see is what the film actually looks like. The setlist is short but super-sweet: Easy Money--> Improv This snippet has circulated among Crimso collectors for years, but never in this quality. I got it from a friend who owns the actual film. Following many years of me pestering him, he finally got around to getting the transfer done. I believe he will be listing the actual film on ebay in the near future, if anyone is so inclined to try to track it down for their own archive. I realize that putting this "out there" exposes a risk of someone trying to sell it, but this is too cool to keep under wraps. Please share this freely and circulate it as much as possible in the hopes that perhaps the forces of evil will be thwarted. We can only hope that this might inspire the powers that be to commercially release the entire show. Snippets of the Larks' Tongues I from this show were used for the 1973 television promo for the album's initial realease, so one could assume (albeit a fantasy) that the entire set was filmed and is in the can somewhere. Many thanks to all who stay on to help seed....I am going out of town for the weekend, but this should be completed many times over before my departure. The more generous you are with your music, the more it comes back to you.
