Comfortably Numb [8:28] tot length: 139:34 released and recorded by: buffalofloyd artwork by: flyingpig notes: % I added a second version of track 2 on disc 1 (2006-09-20_Late to the Slaughter_T102b). It fades in nicely and should be the first track used if your going to burn this to cdr. Otherwise, with the original tacking the disc timing would be 84:38 which is too long to burn to one cdr. If your going to listen to this on your computer you should have no problem using the original tracking. Track 1, as it is now, is the Pre-show entertainment (as I call it) that Roger provided to us before the show. I think it's worth listening to at least once just so you can see how the crowd is paying attention and the kind of reaction they are giveing. This always facinates me and some of the songs are actually quite good. Hmm... now if I could just get my hands on that screen footage :-) The day of the show could not have been more of a disaster. Everything that could have gone wrong did. I won't bore everyone with the details but the lack of part of the 2nd set reflects the horrific day I was having. On the upside, the show was absolutely spectacular. My buddy that I went with totally blows up my mics a couple times during Leaving Beirut and at the end of DSotM. You have been warned ;-) The second set you can clearly hear me unloading my rig during Time because in the words of Roger I was "late to the slaughter", hence the title of this RoIO. Roger says this after Sheep just before the break. Apparently I didn't take his advice. Anyway, bits of saturation here and there but overall I am pleased with the results, hope you are too. Enjoy!!! -buffalofloyd 2006.09.28 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'd like to give special thanks to all the people in the PINKROIOSHN hub *************************** http://pf-db.com/signup.php *************************** and the IN FLOYD WE TRUST hub ******************************************** http://pinkfloydsound.altervista.org/eng.htm ******************************************** The people contained in these hubs are the most knowledgable and dedicated Pink Floyd fans on the planet, they are also my good friends and I love them all.
