Upped on YEESHKUL by Mark Anderson/Surround April 2010 Visit the Surround Sound Music Discography at http://members.cox.net/surround/ This was my first Floyd related show and was really excited as I scored seats in the center of section J on the floor in front of the soundboard. This was an Ideal location as the surround speakers were to the sides of the soundboard in the upper part of the arena, a back surround and suspended stereo array above the stage. When I arrived at the show I discovered that my seats were gone as the soundboard took up more room than was planned and I was escorted to my new seats on the left side of the stage in section 215. These had a great view of the stage but not ideal for taping. When the show started I fired up mu Sony D6C and noticed right away that something was wrong. All I got was Radio Waves and then the deck died, what was recorded is unlistenable. On the way home after the concert I stopped at a fast food joint to pick up some food. As I waited at the drive through window a car pulled up behind me and I heard Roger Waters playing. I thought it was just someone who went to the concert playing the KAOS album when I then realized it was an actual tape of the Show! I bolted out of my car towards the car behind me as the occupants were rolling up there windows in fear as I must have looked like some crazy man. As I tried to compose myself I explained through the crack in the window to the lady who was driving what happened to my deck at the show. She then rolled down her window and explained that she taped the whole show. A week later I met her and ran a copy of her tape. That is what this recording is. A few months later I met David Homes and got a copy of his tape (Recorder 1). I will be borrowing his master to upload ASAP. There were 3 recorders at this event. Recorder 1: David Homes Sony WM-R2 with built-in mics, located on the floor Section D Recorder 2: Unknown Recorder with built-in mics, located on the floor Section H Recorded by Kim Barron and transferred by Mark Anderson/Surround. Recorder 3: Mark Anderson Sony D6C with Radio Shack mics in Hat, Located in section 215.
