  • Got this disc from one of the WBCN DJ's. The disc is quiet for surface noise. Remember....when I made a copy, the disc was only 7-8 years old. Took it to a friend who was an audiophile. It was cleaned a couple times and played back well...Thought I would put this up as it is complete with the BBC announcer. Quality is very nice... I used Maxell UD50-60 for all my BBC Disc recordings. This tape was 1.5 mils thick and gave 1/2 hour of recording each side at 7 1/2 ips.
