  • ELP 1972-11-26 Birmingham Odeon Birmingham England (T-234) This CD-r release is from a cassette tape that I got in trade from a fellow taper / trader in England in the mid 70's. It is an audience recording. Mics and Recorder unknown > unknown > cassette > Playback Deck: Tascam 130 > Nikko 32 Band EQ > Akai DR16 Digital Hard Disk Recorder > HHB CDR-800 Compact Disc Recorder > CDR > WAV > Audacity > CD Wave Editor > FLAC I removed a gap which was a result of tape flip and made a slight speed correction. I have included a file ELP1972-11-26 (T-234)edits removed.flac which contains all the sound from the edits made when sound was deleted. If you burn as audio I wouldn't recomend including this file on the audio disc. ELP played very fast sometimes so it may seem at first during some songs that the recording is too fast but I don't believe it is. disc 1 1. Abaddon's Bolero 2. Hoedown 3. Tarkus (including Epitaph and In The Hall Of The Mountain King) 4. (unknown / a knife is presented to Keith from the Knife Edge Appreciation Society) 5. The Sheriff disc 2 1. Take A Pebble (part 1) 2. Lucky Man 3. improvisation / Take A Pebble (part 2) 4. Pictures At An Exhibition 5. (applause) 6. Nutrocker 7. Rondo I did the editing, mastering (tweaking), analog to digital transfer and artwork for this version of this show. Don't add, change or remove any of these files. Please keep the text, md5 and artwork files unaltered, together with the FLAC's. Don't rename directories or file names if you share this. My concern is that when people rename them they drop information like date, venue, location, T number. This information is useful to others when searching for or deciding which version of a show they want or already have. The T releases are not to be used as a source for anyones so called remastering projects. If you really want to do something find a better quality recording of the show and work from that. Don't just take what I have worked on and screw with it. For Trade or Give Away only - Do not Sell - Do not encode as MP3 virus files - MD or any other format which degrades the quality of the recording. October 24, 2005 T________
