  • ELP 1974-07-26 Rich Stadium Buffalo NY (T-162) This release is from a cassette tape that I got in trade many years ago. It is an audience recording. Manticore released a version of this show in Vol.2 of The Original Bootleg Series From The Manticore Vaults. Too bad the version in their vaults is not as good as the one in my closet. They are both from the same recorder but mine sounds better and I've fixed many of the problems which are on the other releases of this show. Mics and Recorder unknown > unknown > cassette > Playback Deck: Tascam 130 > Nikko 32 Band EQ > Akai DR16 Digital Hard Disk Recorder > HHB CDR-800 Compact Disc Recorder > CDR > WAV > Audacity > CD Wave Editor > FLAC I removed a few bad edits and gaps and balanced the volume fluctuations. disc 1 1. Hoedown 2. Jerusalem 3. Toccata 4. Tarkus (including Epitaph) 5. Take A Pebble part 1 6. Still...You Turn Me On 7. Lucky Man 8. Piano Improvisation / Take A Pebble part 2 disc 2 1. Karn Evil 9 1st Impression 2. Karn Evil 9 2nd Impression 3. Karn Evil 9 3rd Impression 4. Pictures At An Exhibition I did the editing, mastering (tweaking), analog to digital transfer and artwork for this version of this show. Don't add, change or remove any of these files. Please keep the text, md5 and artwork files unaltered, together with the FLAC's. Don't rename directories or file names if you share this. My concern is that when people rename them they drop information like date, venue, location, T number. This information is useful to others when searching for or deciding which version of a show they want or already have. The T releases are not to be used as a source for anyones so called remastering projects. If you really want to do something find a better quality recording of the show and work from that. Don't just take what I have worked on and screw with it. For Trade or Give Away only - Do not Sell - Do not encode as MP3 virus files - MD or any other format which degrades the quality of the recording. October 30, 2006 T________
