  • David Gilmour 4-12-06 Rosemont Theatre Rosemont, Illinois "Thank You Mr. Gilmour" Echoes Sample NTSC Sigmasix Source Rontoon's recent "Echoes" video from the 13th inspired me to share this. This is the performance of "Echoes" from the 12th shot by me with my Canon ZR700, set at widescreen and 16 bit stereo. This is shot from The second to last row in the balcony, however I think everyone will be VERY happy with the results. The Audio is rich sounding with none of the "Boominess" usually accompanied by balcony recordings. I shot it from section 204, row R, seat9. The people sitting around me were for the most part very polite so there is very little crowd chatter. You can hear myself call out "Yeeshkul!" during the recording. Thanks goes out to Duffinator for watching for the security gaurds while I was shooting this. I was able to get the entire second set on video, however the first set is marred by some very persistent security people, so I missed out on "Smile", "Pocketful of Stones" and "Where We Start". I have been in hospital since the concert and I have not had the time or strength to do a complete transfer of the whole show yet. Rest assured, I will be releasing the entire recording in the coming month. Lineage: Canon ZR700 DVC->Magnavox MRV660 DVD recorder(M1)->Sony DVD+R->My PC->Yeeshkul I am looking for any good quality audio recording of the songs I missed during the first set so that I may complete the eventual DVD release with audio and slide show. I know of one recording, however it was done with a Cell-Phone, does anyone know of any better source? I named this "Thank You Mr. Gilmour" because the guy behind me called it out several times through-out the show. Enjoy! As Always****DO NOT SELL**** for free trade only!!!!
