Tension This is a soundboard recording of 10,000 Maniacs during their Spring 1986 tour. During the 1980's there was a radio show called "Austin Alternatives" which recorded national acts live in Austin (and often at this same venue, the Liberty Lunch). This could very well be the source of this recording, but I can only speculate. Of note: rejected songs "G Suspended", "Thompson's March", and "Angels of Stone", along with a fantastic version of future b-side "Wildwood Flower" and a rare performance of Brian Eno's "Burning Airlines Give You So Much More". "1-A in the Army", a cover version of a 1941 World War II song, is merely a short intro. to "My Mother the War". Enjoy!
