Black Diamond Total playing time - 72:23 min. WAV size: 730 GB FLAC size: 462 MB Without a doubt the best sounding recording available from the 1977-1978 Love Gun/Alive II tour (the only really great one). This soundboard has aged quite well compared to some other 70s KISS soundboards. This is an EAC clone from the very rare and best version available called "A Rock And Roll Night" (Chikara CDP746437-3). The longest and best sounding version. Although there are some annoying aspect to report. Some crowd noise has been edited out between some tracks which means that some songs start almost instantly after each other. You hear the transition between the tracks although it's not like clicks. Nothing like that. It's just not done very smoothly. This was probably done to fit this concert one cd CD when 74 minute discs were still used. But as long this is the best version available it's not such a big deal. Most versions in the KISS trading community comes from this version although very few collectors have the original silver CD. The performance is quite nice although sloppy at times. Peter Criss was already on a downhill slide and only two years later his playing would be unlistenable. Beth was not performed and Rock And Roll All Nite is dedicated to Elvis Presley who passed away earlier that day. Enjoy!
