  • Emerson, Lake & Palmer Universal Amphitheatre Universal City, Ca. 8-30-98 Master Audience Recording by Brian Emery Set List: Crossing the Rubicon Karn Evil 9: 1st Impression Pt. 2 Hoedown Knife Edge Piano Concerto No. 1 C'est La Vie Lucky Man Tarkus a) Eruption b) Stones of Years c) Iconoclast d) Mass e) Manticore f) Battlefield g) Aquatarkus 21st Century Schizoid Man Fanfare for the Common Man (w/Carl Palmer Drum Solo) Lineage: ECM-959DT>WM-D6 (ANALOG)>TC-WE475>RCD-W500C W/SBM (Super Bit Mapping) Band: Keith Emerson - Keyboards Greg Lake - Bass Guitar, Vocals Carl Palmer - Drums This recording has been circulating since '98 however this version is a new master cassette transfer from my original analog master tape (Jan. 2010). Great set from ELP from the last show of the Dream Theater/ELP/Deep Purple tour of '98. As of today this is actually the second to last show ELP has ever done, the next and last show was the following night in San Diego as a headlining show. I also taped that show which i will also upload in time. Excellent sounding recording from Loge 11 Row D. There is a small cut in Tarkus due to the tape flip. This is upload #43 from my "Master tape Collection". I'm going to start uploading shows from my 600+ masters which includes uncirculated recordings from 2003 thru the present. I've taped just about every show i've gone too since 1986 so you can imagine i have a lot of masters to share. Most of my recordings from 1986-2002 have been circulating as i used to do a lot of trading back in the day. All uploads however will be new master tape transfers directly from the master tape to CD. Enjoy! Brian.
