  • Emerson,Lake and Palmer Concord Pavilion,Concord,Calif. Sept.2,1992 Audience recording/incomplete Total Time 75:15 Quality:Vg/Ex- Lineage:Analog Master Cassette>Dat>CD-r(standalone cd recorder/ Denon DN-C550R)>EAC>WAV>TLH>FLAC>T.T.D. Outdoor show,Jason Bonham was the opener.Didn't record the Bonham set. My first ever attempt at recording a concert.Brand new Sony D-6 analog deck and Sony ECM-909 mic.Had reserved seats, they were pretty good, maybe 15 rows back. The first 30 seconds sound pretty rough,as I was setting the levels and had them too high, but things got under control and got the record levels calmed down. I was pretty nervous and since it was my first time out recording a show and unfamiliar with using the deck, sadly, the show is incomplete, but whats there sounds pretty darn good. After the first 45 mins and time for a tape flip,I flipped the tape, but went on 'record pause' and missed the next approx.35-40 mins. I came in around Carl Palmers drum solo during "Pictures at an Exhibition",then got the rest on the show.It fits on one disc, and I've never circulated it. The set list is as follows: Karn Evil 9 Tarkus Knife Edge Paper Blood Black Moon Keyboards Creole Dance From The Beginning Still You Turn Me On Lucky Man >cuts in>Pictures at an Exhibition Fanfare For the Common Man The crowd was really into this show, and the band really delivered the goods that night. I'd really like to find an alternate source of this show, and possibly even the Bonham set. Enjoy. *Do not sell, trade only *Do not convert to lossy formats
