- Grendel's Garden Party Bangor University, Wales 12th May 1882 01 Grendel 02 Chelsea Monday 03 Thre Boats Down From The Candy 04 Forgotten Sons Fish, Kelly, Pointer, Rotery, Trewavas (Pete Trewavas joined at the end of March 1982, so this is one of his earliest gigs with the band) Audience > Vinyl > Aiwa PX-E855 turntable > MAGIX ACL > WAV > Flac Frontend I Picked up this vinyl in the mid eighties at a recored fair in Nottingham. Sound quality is always difficult to judge because everyone's opinion is different. For the time and as an audience recording I think it's pretty good - I've heard worse from the marbles tour for instance - but it does distort in places. I used to listen to it a lot so there are one or two scratches. I've cleaned it up a little by removing some hiss and some of the more pronounced clicks. The artwork that's included is based on the photocopied sheet that came with the vinyl. I've included a copy of the scan if you'd rather make your own or for making a label. Hope you enjoy it. G
