  • Solstice, Marquee, London, UK. 1983-07-14 More NWOBPR for you! Solstice live at the Marquee, London. I was given this tape back in May 1984 and I have no idea of its lineage except to say that it must a low-gen copy because of the relatively good definition and lack of hiss. This was the first of two nights in a row at the Marquee. On this occasion IQ were the support (as can be heard mentioned towards the end of the performance). I am led to believe that Solstice bootlegs from 1983 are quite rare, so I hope you enjoy this one. I am not familiar with the names of all of the tracks as I only own Silent Dance on vinyl, so if anyone could fill in the blanks I would be grateful. TOTAL RUNNING TIME: 84 minutes 38 seconds Setlist: 01 ? 02 ? 03 Sunrise 04 Find Yourself 05 ? 06 Return of Spring 07 ? (tape turnover) VERY SHORT vocal only song 08 New Life 09 ?Guardian of My Soul 10 ? 11 Peace 12 ? 13 ? 14 Thanks etc. 15 ? (First encore) 16 ? TDK D90 -> Yamaha KX490 cassette deck -> M-Audio 2496 card -> Wavelab (recorded as WAV files at 16-bit/44.1KHz) -> Traders' Little Helper -> FLAC I have added a slight amount of EQ to boost the top and bottom to this, but if someone thinks they can improve on it then please do have a go.
