  • Aerosmith Speaks (Speakeasy) Club Long Island, New York April 20, 1980 Quality: B/B+ aud>1st.gen.cassette>SonyTCWE435>PioneerPDR- O4>CDR>EAC>WAV>Trader'sLittleHelper>FLAC Crowd Back In The Saddle Mama Kin I Wanna Know Why Big Ten Inch Record Dream On Three Mile Smile Reefer Head Woman Bone To Bone Rats in the Cellar Remember (Walking In the Sand) Walk This Way Lord Of The Thighs Same Old Song And Dance Milk Cow Blues Toys In The Attic Train Kept A Rollin' Notes: Aerosmith playing a club show. Tyler drugged out here, but relatively coherent. The band, however, doesn't wait around for him to talk, instead launching into songs as he is mid-sentence, still, give Tyler credit, he sings the songs and doesn't miss much. Cool show in a small venue. At this time Crespo had taken over guitar duties for Joe Perry. After "Ma Kin" a woman in the audience complains the sound is "too loud," meaning it was just right. I guess the band brought their arena amps into the club. Not sure why they did these gigs, maybe for drug money. The show is split up into two sets, as the band leaves after "Bone to Bone." "Remember" is split into two tracks as I got the show on a 90 minute tape. There is a slight repeat, so maybe someone can edit the track into one down the road. Anyway, enjoy Aero circa 1980!
